The name Selukar is derived from the Indonesian term “Semak Belukar,” which refers to the wild bushes/plants. Within this font, the letterforms resemble the organic swirls, branches, and thorny sides of wild floras on the ground.
Selukar is a beautiful display serif font with polarity: delicate and sharp structures. Selukar was created as an expression of fluid senses, deliberate growth, and delicate parts within oneself as a living being. It represents a quiet longing to reach something with reverence.
Selukar is suitable for identity design, logotype, prints, editorials, whimsical event invitations, greeting cards, botanical garden posters, book cover, website design, app, branding, restaurant menus, love letters, merchandise, stationeries, accessories, or any creative projects.
